A few General MK6 Golf GTI cleaning questions

Hey guys, I've had my mk6 GTI for roughly 10 months now, and love it to bits. I've tried to keep it in as new condition, and think I've done a great job of it.

There are a few things that ice noticed that need cleaning/tidying, and I'm wondering how/what products people use to clean with.

Firstly, I've noticed that the outside rubber trim around the windows on the doors is looking not as black as it should, with some spotty stains etc. to be honest I remember it being that way since new. What do you guys recommend or use to clean it up?

Secondly, the black plastic pillars between the front and rear doors is looking scratched up with swirls etc. I'm assuming this is just from normal washing as the plastic is fairly soft. How can I polish it up and protect it so that it won't scratch easily?

I've had my car Nanolexed by Pierre and the guys at Car Care Products a week or two since new. So I was considering polishing up the pillars somehow, and then applying either the paint or glass Nanolex sealant to protect it. Not sure if that will work though?

Finally, how do you guys clean the soft plastic trims on the dash, or on the sides of the radio console, and the soft plastic around the door handles etc? They still looking like they're in tip top shape, except for a small mark here or there which really annoys me. I'm wondering if there is anything I can use to clean up the marks with?

Happy to post up some pics if need be?

    Thanks for your help!
