    Electric Polishers.

It's hard to wax 3 cars and T5, so I'm after a good RO Polisher and wonder what is everybody else in the forum using?

I saw Mothers Wax Attack ($145) at AutoPro and since I'll be only applying the products, it could do the job or not? Is anybody using Wax Attack and are you happy with it?

    We used to sell them...

It is not a polisher, it just vibrates so no correcting/polishing ability. It is ok for spreading liquid sealants onto paint but did not really save much time in the process.

For the money I would go a bit more and get yourself a proper RO/DA that you can use for polishing / finishing etc

Click here to see what a rank amateur armed with a DAS 6 and Menzerna polishes can achieve...

    Definitely worth it

Yeah, I will probably save a bit longer and get the Festool.

My brother has the Mint DA6 as well. I have borrowed it a few times and it works really well.

You also have the added bonus of CCP having a number kit options available when buying this polisher.

Will be borrowing it again soon and giving it a good work out on swirl city that is currently my paint work (not inflicted by me).

If your wanting more power then the DAS6, you can always alternatively try the DAS6 Pro which offers 850w over the Das6's 500w.

Good alternative without having to break the piggy bank! And more so a fantastic machine which i use myself and recently redid my own car with it again over the Festool.

    Machine polishers

    Hey guys,
as ive become more into the whole detailing scene with my cars my whole family (read wog family here) have decided that i'm gooing to be there free personal detailer!

So in light of the fact i now have about fifteen cars lined up for a good detail i've decided to invest into a machine polisher.
I'm a big fan of Dodo products and noticed the dodo spin doctor to be a reasonable option but i am having trouble sourcing it from aus.
Whats a good basic machine polisher for a rookie that isnt too expensive? )trying to spend 200 max?)
    Thanks

At $200 you can get the DAS6 RO Polisher

I don't personally own a machine polisher but from comments from the other peeps on this forum, it seems like a great option.
They also have several kits with different pads and polishes included, so I'd probably start there

i think i'll go with this if i don find anything i else.
Car Care Products / Car Care Products / Car Accessories / Buffing Machines / RO Polisher DAS6 Starter Kit
it seems like a really good deal and i trust that its a sturdy machine coming from ccp.
But if anyone happens to know something else better suited please feel free to chime in.
    Thanks

Yeah that kit is good. However, you may want to consider the $299 one as it comes with the full Menzerna sample kit and 4 pads. I guess it just depends on the condition of the cars that you will be working on in the short term.

DMS_Dan has a thread here with information about wax vs polish. But it also talks briefly about machine polishing and the different steps, and recommends some products, including the Menzerna sample kit.

If you're still unsure which way to go, I'm sure a conversation with the guys at CCP will clear it up
