I am getting set to order some detailing products and thinking of going down the nanolex route.
Given that my Talledega's are painted black does that make the nanolex paint sealant I intend to use on my bodywork suitable for my rims? Or does the rim sealant work on both non-painted and painted and have some 'extra' brake dust defeating technology?
Advice appreciated.
Edit: From http://www.nanolex.de/en/application
Nanolex Sealants for painted (lacquered) surfaces are also perfect to be used on alloy rims. Depending on the material (chrome, lacquer, steel) the durability can vary.

ausbob,
more than fine for your wheels.
It will not give you 12 months on the wheels however due to the heat dispersal from your brakes to the wheels. Saying this though you will get at least 6 months from it though which is a much better option than a wax which lasts 1-2 months only!
