Cleaning wind shield and windows with newspaper? safe?

    Hey guys

So someone told me that newspaper is the most effective tool to clean a car's wind shield and and windows for streak free results. I was just wondering whether it is safe to do so. Will it cause minor damages, like mini swirls/scratches, over a long run?

Does anyone uses newspaper to clean their car glasses and recommends doing so?

I would use a dedicated glass cleaner like Stoner Invisible Glass and Glass MF Cloth rather than newspaper.

It is an old school method, now surpassed by today's technology.

Ink used in todays newspapers has a completely different formulation that will not help you clean your windows... might even put more crap on it!

    Both are spot on.

Definitely a automotive specific glass cleaner & glass cloth!
