Hey. Wat should I use to clean and keep my leather steering wheel in good nic. Warm water and finish off with a product? If anyone knows a good product to use. All info is much appreciated.

    Cheers

I use the leather cleaning products (Duragloss) that I use on my seats along with a brush. A soft toothbrush can also be used on the streering wheel for the tighter areas.

Interior cleaners that state they are safe for leather use could be used also. Meguiars Cloth and Trim Cleaner is one such product I believe. I know for a fact it is more harsh though. Good to test first though maybe on the back of the wheel at the bottom. And yes, a leather conditioner would be good to follow up with.

i use einszett W99 (all purpose degreaser) diluted for use in the interior , grab a clean cloth, ( one you don't mind getting dirty) pour it liberally onto a section, make sure it soaks in. Wrap the wet area of the cloth around a section of the steering and grab it tight , keep twisting hard and work the cloth around the wheel, you will be amazed at how much dirt will end up on the cloth. Brushes do work but i find that when you are using them all the product ends up else where. And of course make sure to use a leather conditioner at the end.
