    Cheap trim/dash removal tools

There's probably a thread already about them but I thought I'd throw the link out there seeing as I am so happy I bought this particular item.

SCA Door Trim Remover Set - 5 Piece - Supercheap Auto Australia

    PLU 282096

I can't believe I did not buy something like this YEARS ago. All these years of stuffing around with various implements trying to not damage the plastic trim...Far out I feel like such a knucklehead.

If you're so much as contemplating digging into your interior go get these! Bloody fantastic and so easy to get your hands on.

Howdy Tom, yes the purpose made tools are just great.

My first career as an Automotive Refinisher was removing and instaling trim all day long and after ten years I retired to an office job Lol.

I am a Super Cheap fan too.

But my brother recently gave a copy of Classic Car to read and there was an advertisement that caught my eye for Radum Pty Ltd.
    Phone 3256 7799 at 30 Northlink Place Virginia 4014.

I rang them as I had to query their low prices. I spoke to Larry who said that is there everday prices. And intend to go shopping this Saturday, all being well.

    5pc Trim & Upholstery Tool Set [RDM-BM97-7006] is $10.00 ( ex GST ).

Radum Pty Ltd 11pc Trim & Upholstery Tool Set [RDM-BM97-7008] is $19.09 ( ex GST ).

Seriously good value and 11 pieces for an extra $1.00, now that is great value. I am getting myself a set of these for sure.

Hey and that is not a one off good value item on their website, there are numerous other tools that I am sure are great value too. Pity they are not on the southside for convenience but worth buying up at their prices IMHO.

    Anyone have a better option?

    Cheers Al

Best investment you can get for you car if you play around with, regardless of the price...beat an old butter knife or screw driver.
