    Carwash Inner Sydney - recommendations?

Hey all, I've recently moved from Brisbane to Sydney and my Golf has been parked at a friend's house while I've been finding my feet (getting a job, finding an apartment, etc.). It's been about 2 months or so that the car has been parked under a tree, and after picking it up on the weekend it's covered in crap.

Looking for a good carwash somewhere in inner Sydney if possible where I can wash the car myself. I didn't bring any car detailing equipment with me so I'll need a place that has stuff that I can borrow. I don't mind paying someone else to do it either as long as they use the 2-bucket method.

Any recommendations would be a big help, thanks!

You can give IMO Mascot a go. It's fairly close to you I think. http://imocarwash.com.au/Locations/R...?PostCode=2020

    1. Car Wash Kingdom Self Serve & Automatic Car Wash - 412-416 Liverpool Rd Sydney NSW 2131
    2. BP Darling Street
    3. Classic Car Wash Café in Alexandria
    4. Gold Car Wash & Café Alexandria
    5. Steam Power Car Wash in Haymarket
    6. Titanium Car Care in Redfern

Note: don't use the brush in any of the DIY car wash places unless you love swirls and fine scratches in your paintwork. Washing your car at home is still the best method to clean your car with the recommended equipment.

Where abouts in Inner Sydney are you?

I may be able to help you out. I've been a hobbiest detailer for three years now and know my way around a microfibre wash mitt.

    PM me if you prefer.

Hey guys thanks for the reply. I wasn't able to find any place with favourable reviews for a basic wash, and all the proper detailing places start at $250 for a paint correction that I don't really need.

I ended up just buying a Duragloss wash pack from CCP and I'll take it to a DIY place at night and do it myself.
