Had a great scenario on Tulla freeway monday. Car in front flicked up what looked like bits of bumper perfectly so my front left hit it flush. Was hoping for a few scratches that buff out on my green 'roc but when I pulled over it looks a bit like freddy kruger hand was at work.
About 10 different spots of damage through to plastic and two deep gouges - i must have hit it sweet.
Took to one of those dent and scratch mobs. $400 for repair (no invoice apparently) but worried finish may not be great. Given my excess is only $300 and I have rating one for life, im going insurance route. Also have nanolex so will ask bumper redone as well.
In Essendon so around the north more convenient. Any recommendations?

Just be careful of going the insurance route. You may keep the rating 1 discount but it doesn't stop them from putting your premium up next year because "there were more claims in your area" Happened to me when claimed for hail damage a few years go. It was worth while as it was $3k+ of work, but I had to change insurers because of the premium increase but still had the rating 1 discount.
