    - washing
    - tyres

    - anything else?

    Cool Same Here

    Yeah;

    If anyone could pass on what they use on their leather interior that would be great. I have the anthracite leather in my 2008 GTI and need to protect it. Also any good body polish. Thanks - See Ya Round Brissy

    I was thinking of getting the leather care stuff through VW itself. I'd hate to think how much it costs. I will have latte so need to take extra TLC of it.

    Heres a good trick with leather interiors, treat like them like your beloved lounges at home and your seats will be better for it. No automotive leather treatment comes remotely close to the even the middle range leather treatments (no IKEA crap either) which although may cost around the $60 mark for a cleaner and conditioner are well worth it.

    Hope that helped!

    I use Armorall Wash & Wax on the MK V and just soapy water or vacuum for interior.

    Haven't conditioned leather before or polished so I may just give Mum a gift cerificate for both

    Dan: Menzerna FF has NO PROTECTION!! You really really really need to top it with a wax or sealant.

    For washing i have found Bowdens own auto body get the best

    Polishing: The menzerna range teamed with edge pads

    Tyres: final inspections MSTD or if i dont have that autoglym instant tyre dressing

    Interior: 303 aerospace protectant

    Leather: Lexol PH leather cleaner followed by Z10 conditioner. It will work better or as good as the stuff for in your house. Also not all the in home stuff has UV blockers as not all in home leather is expected to be in the sun all day.

    And your missing the most important part of car care. Wax!! There are heaps of options but for ease of use and bang for buck its either optimum car wax or P21S

    After seeing some of Dan's work i'll be following your advice. I love the megs gold class leather wipes. Put it on thick and then wipe down the next morning with a clean cloth, looks great and i switched to 303 on the interior. Similar finish as armorall ( a little less shine ) without the dust attracting oily finish.

    I've been using zymol. HD Cleanse, and Carnuba wax. Yet to use the claybar as the car is brand new. maybe in 6 months time.
