    Candy White Paint Codes (plural)

I have two candy white Golfs, both MY10, one built '09 the other '10, with paint codes LB9A and B4B4 respectively. Anybody know what gives with the two different paint codes? The cars look identical when parked side by side.

Not sure but maybe it has something to do with the 2 different Candy Whites, normal and solid. Mine is the normal finish and has the code LB9A as you first mentioned, so perhaps the solid has slightly different ingredients and thus the different code ? Someone on the forum is bound to know

Turns out B4B4 is the dealer order code for candy white. LB9A is listed elsewhere in the car too.

Nothing unusual for a dealer to be different
