Yeah - I find that the wheel & arch brush works really well on the front face of the rims too! The wheel rim brush is good for squeezing between the brake discs and the inside of the rims, but less so for doing the actual front facial of the rims.

I haven't used enough clay bars to give a recommendation...

I use and like the Dodo Juice Dodo Clay & Born Slippy Duo.

The clay is nice and soft and sticky and good value seeing as you are buying lube concentrate, not pre-mixed.

Doesnt look like i even need to give any advice!

You pretty much have everything listed by everyone already here.

You can also by the Dodo Lube Concentrate on its own as well if ever need be. But a 250ml bottle does 2.5l, an average car (Golf/A3) would only need 500ml usually to do an entire car so the kit would be a one timer and keeper definitely.

Wheel cleaner, the autobrite and the duragloss are my 2 person favourite as bang for buck and an non-acid cleaner that works incredibly well and safe for all wheels inc two/three piece and also other customs etc.

They're a waffle weave microfibre and wringing them will just damage them as the fibres are not designed to stretch.
Once you're done, you just hang them up and air dry them.
I wring the crap out of it a couple times while drying the car, I'm sure it will be fine?

Traditional Chamois were a small and easy to manage size (say around 30cm x 40cm). It didn't need to be large because they could be wringed out repeatedly.

However, the entire reason they make these multiple different sized waffle weave drying towels, including "extra large" sizes, is because you're not supposed to wring them out. This is why we end up having to "manage" cloths of 90cm x 60cm and even larger, where for the majority of the work they're folded into 1/8th etc just so they are managable.

So in other words... "wring at your own risk" hehe

It is amzing how much cr@p the clay pulls off the paint. I clayed my Golf not long after I bought it, after 1 1/2 years of minimal maintenance by the previous owner I was shocked at how much cr@p came off.

The back half of the roof took three passes to get it smooth.

    Mmmmm, fruity.

Blah! If and when it "dies", I'll just buy another one.

Yeah I've only done the Polo (CW) so far and even places that looked clean, had the clay coming back with crap on it.

Just an update on the auto rite berry tyre gel.
Works beautifully. Lasts for a good while (although we've had soMe ****ty weather lately) and doesn't fling.
Overall very happy with it. Only qualm I'd have is that it does take more effort than a spray can :p and I like them fairly shiny so two or three coats are needed. Otherwise would happily recommend the product to anyone!
