Depends if he wants the whole car done or just the bonnet. Depending on the work involved most likely around $80 for the bonnet only or $400ish for the whole car.

    Thank you Dan (and others)

Given your affiliation with this fine site and the much appreciated free advice (Dan) I would be keen to have you repair the damage. I am also looking at 'paint protection' for the whole car.... I didn't get it done by dealer

I ask the following on the thread for others info also

    (a) do you know approx when in January?
    (b) do you know where you will be based?
    (c) approx cost for paint protection (product to last as long as possible...)?

    Thanks mate.

(A)Its looking like the second week in Jan
    (B) We will be mobile so will travel to people. Once we get a list of interested parties we will work out a route and advise
    (C) It would be around $400 for the sealant including fixing the bonnet. That's using Nanolex Paint Professional Sealant, which is only available to certain professional detailers.

Dan - Are you no longer operating as a mobile service in Sydney? I'd love to have you bring my R36 back to it's former glory, but Castle Hill (and back) is just that little bit too painful to contemplate from the Northern Beaches.

    Dan,
Would you be travelling through Albury on your trip to Melbourne in January?

    Hi ADAC,

Sorry for the late reply, busy Christmas! We weren't going to go to Albury, but we could possibly fit you in on the way back next Saturday or Sunday, if you're still interested? Send me PM with your mobile number and I'll let you know as soon as I can confirm.

Sloutch - sorry we couldn't co ordinate this time. Give me a buzz if you're ever in Sydney and I'll definitely take care of you. If we go down to Melb again in the future I'll be sure to let you know. Hope you enjoy your trip!

We are just talking to a few regarding the Nanolex Sealants, biggest issue is making sure the quality of work is of exceptional standards, but we might have one or two offering these services soon in Melbourne...
