303 squeak when used on door seals

Hi Beetles. I treated my new GTI with 303 on interior surfaces and external plastics and door seal rubber.
Has anyone experienced this stuff causing squeaking between the rubber and the door? What should I do about it. Cheers. S

Hi Gav. Yeh, I did wipe off any residue. Squeaks are driving me mad. S

I would be using Gummi Pflege rubber care on your door seals. That's what it's designed for. I had the same issue with my Golf until I used Gummi Pflege and now it's pretty darn quiet.

This forum never ceases to amaze. Thanks a mill for this. Can I get this at CCProds? Love the name Gummi Pfledge! Cheers. S

I remember asking the same question ages back and there was something about the BMW dealers having them? Then again if CCP is more convenient, you could definitely give them a ring.

I got mine from Waxit.com.au it's about $20. I don't know if CCP sell it. But it wouldn't hurt in asking them.

CCP doesn't have Gummi Pflege unfortunately.
The other stuff which people say works a treat with the door seals is Krytox (the VW dealers use this.. it's available in a few different forms though. Maverick is the expert on that subject and I think it is detailed at his site).

I'm glad this thread exists as it was only this weekend passed that I was cleaning my R and applying the 303 everywhere when I looked at the door seals and thought, nah, better not! hehe

That Krytox cost way too much. I'd be using the Gummi.
