I think I know where it is so if you want you can follow me down.. I'll be seeing you on Friday night so we can talk about it then..

Oh btw, I'm in It'll be good to let the Jetta (stock) loose on some windy roads. It's not lowered yet so I don't have to worry about scraping and all that.. Just the body roll on the curves =P And I reckon the speed hole in the rear bumper will help out, too Although I may have to shoot of early depending on what time things rap up. I've got an appointment at the Normanby Hotel that afternoon if I decide to go...

When you say bring a 2-way, you mean CB type radio or something right? If you do, I have 2 in case anyone needs one. Just remember to give it back!!

Which part of the north side you guys coming from? Springwood macca's is just off the gateway arterial. If you're meeting at the Hyperdome on friday night for the dinner, you'll go straight past it. It's a few exits before. I can meet elsewhere if desired too, or just leave it for beaudesert.

    Yup, CB type radio.

Oh, you really don't want to leave before we do the woodenbong to rathdowney run. it's wickedly cambered sweepers for like 10kms.

Hmmm I'll be coming from the eastside Sunday morning (Manly) but I could meet somewhere like the Shell on the Old Cleveland Rd exit then make our way to the Maccas.. Either way it doesn't really bother me.

Oh and I'll remember that before the run, don't wanna miss out on anything

how's channel 18 suite?? I know it's a social chat channel. Amongst others, channels 17 to 21 are for social chat I believe so if we get interference we can change channels. (please correct me you know otherwise).

Yeah lunch is BYO picnic. There's no shops en route so bring what you want. woodenbong has a basic store though is best to not rely on it. We'll stop along the drive for lunch and look outs. When we meet up, we'll suss out whether we want to be having a casual, relaxing run with a stop or two, or not. With a handful of cars, it should make it quite easy to do stop and go as we please.

LOL getting to the Belmont Shell is pretty easy. Jump in the ICB continuing onto Kingsford Smith Drive, take Gateway S/B until Old Cleveland Road exit and it's on your left (on the offramp).. I think it's a Shell..

So the official starting point is Beaudesert McDonalds? The one on Brisbane Road?

Ps. I'll bring both my 2-ways in case someone needs one.

Yeah I think that's safest as we have one fellow coming from the coast, we'll meet there to minimise the risk of missing any one.

And yup, back in brissy early to mid arvo depending on breaks I reckon. 1 or 2 stops on the lions road for pictures and a feed, perhaps a quick one closer to rathedowney, than awesome highway run back to rathdowney to regroup and depart from there.
