I'd be keen for the drive but I'd probably bring up the rear as I think I'm one of the lowest at the moment (~101mm at the cat and just legal) so I'll be taking it pretty slow for a change.
Reckon bring a bit of grub and have a nice little picnic somewhere. I've got a couple of little two ways as well that hopefully will have some range that'll help us out but with the old mountainous sections who knows.
    Cheers,

Trent.....~101mm at the car Crap man, thats low lol. I thought my thing was low lol.

As for the Grub, im going to stop in at the new bakery at Beaudesert, cause i seem to remember they had pretty good salad rolls, so might grab 1 or 3 of those, lol and meet up with you guys,

As for the Two ways, i might be able to grab a couple from work to bring along, see how i go.

Oh and Trent, make sure as well as your food, bring some woolies, its cold down there, i was down at Beaudesert thismorning, and was freezing!!!

Trent we did that drive in Jasons Red GT40 and didn't bottom out once so you should be okay, I've also had my car on it which is lower than yours just be careful going over the cattle gaurds and across the stream crossing with the front lip.

I don't think Jason would be into doing it again, as I said the car didn't bottom out but it was a bit much fording streams in it, it snowed the following day up there as well

I have done this road many many times... it is an awesome drive. Yes, some bits you need to be extra careful on, but there's some 'go-for-it' bits too. I usually stop at the top to look over the Railway border loop and have a cuppa. We do an annual Mazda cruise to Kyogle that usually goes this way.

This is the route we normally do:

Down through Springbrook, then back via the Lions Rd after lunch at the great BBQ park area at Kyogle.

Not sure if I'll have my new R36 by the first weekend in July though...

It's a brilliant day out. The bit from Murwillumbah across to Kyogle is freaking awesome. One of the best driving roads I have ever been on....

Driving a Mazda6 MPS atm, up for sale, R36 due to arrive first week in July.

Don't think there's much risk of me not liking it LOL...
