If you have hard shocks you'll find the car skipping sideways on average corners at 60k in a lot of places. It was wet-ish on the day I went though, but that grid at the top of the hill prior to the border is a real hazzard, as it's at the top of a hill on a long curve. The TDI slipped quite sideways, and I nearly messed up my favourite spiderman undies.
I'd suggest having a bit of a looky see on google earth, shows you the sheer number of tight, unfenced, beside the creek 90 degree bends. I'd hate to imagine the crash rates on this road!
Oh and I was at Beaudesert from Ferny Grove in an hour 10mins Coxy, pretty heavy traffic for a lunchtime Monday though.
