if she gets car sick, she'll never come on a drive with you again.

First time I did this drive with the subaru crowd, a mate had his boarder collie in the back, hilarious. Miraculously it didn't vomit, but it certainly had sea legs.

With regards to woodenbong. It's only a place to stop and regroup before heading back to Rathdowney. I think I know the bridge that's being referred to just before town. By that stage we should all be going slow enough, or will find somewhere else to regroup.

Negative - she's been up plenty of other more local twisty roads . I can always slow down, OMG shock!

I'm in. I turn 40 on the wednesday before this, so it can be a "now I'm officially on old fart" drive for me. Need some hats for my parcel shelf, a sun visor and towing mirrors.

I'm happy to do it any weekend from the 20/6, it's far from set in concrete so if others are cool with the first weekend in July, so will I. We can use this thread as an expression of interest and perhaps start another once us early adopters can agree on a date

As per already discussed on the previous page, it's a bit rough depending on speed and suspension - but not the goat track it once was. If you're not running coilovers, you'll find it to be fine. It's not a race so drive at the speed you are comfortable and you'll get through unscarred and unjolted.

I bet you I can prove you wrong on that.
Suffice to say I'll most likely be taking it pretty carefully.
    Cheers,

Sounds good Sean, If we could do it first week of july that would be fantastic, I have slowly been dying here without my car, I Drove it twice then lost my license , so apart from the drive that my dad gives it once a month, its just been sitting there. Funny thing about it, is that he thought it was a slow old vw when he first got into it, he now has a differnet opinion about it
