Having recently moved down from Brisbane I'm keen to get the shows and events for Victoria, especially Melbourne area on the calendar. Can anyone shed some light on the 'not to miss' shows/events as we come into the summer

Day of the volkswagen which has already been (~15-20th of November)
VITS in albury (march?)
Check out Volkswagen club of VIC for more club run events.

otherwise there is more casual meets like dakdak on a saturday, and VWW monthly pub meet

There is also Jambo and ReVolks which are big aircooled shows.

MCM, HWY/Cruisers also do big regular meets which would be similar to your Downshift meets.

Garage cafe on a Friday night is a popular hangs!

Thanks lads. I had a look at the Day of the Volkswagen show winners and with the amount of different classes that looked like a class show to be at. I'll keep an eye out for local meets aswell
