Lightbulb NSW Why dont we have any meets planned or organised?

Hi all how are we, ive been looking on here for a while and have noticed that we dont have any events or meet ups planned.

Ive organised stuff in the past for a few different forums and wouldnt mind doing something like this again. Can i kindly ask for anyone that may be interested in participating in a event or meet up/cruise to let me know in here and also if you could let me know what you would be interested in doing.

in the past i have done as follows.

Go Karting with 15-20 people. This was an Epic evemt but was only a possibility after everyone knew one another as i got everyone to pay before we went so i didnt get stuck with people that didnt rock up and left the group forking out more money then they should of to cover the 2 or 3 people that pulled out. Obviously we can do something that isn't as expensive and just get everyone out to have a good laugh and a chat.

Aqua Golf, always good with families..

Runs down to Berri via National Park, not a bad little run. We met Up at 3 locations on the way to Cronulla for some pics and then headed to berri via natio.

Runs to Newcastle via old pac highway. these are fun but old pac rd has become a bit of a target since a couple of motorbike riders died there in recent months..

PS I am sure there is tonnes I have missed these are just suggestions on what could be done and what I have organised in the past.

Hi mate, heaps keen for meets! I'm new to the VW scene with my MK7 Golf R, previously I owned a 2007 Audi TT V6 which had me involved in Audi clubs that were surprisingly active!

    Looking forward to hearing more!

The reason why there is so few meets is certain undesirables ruined it for others . It essentially became anti social meets , cars were damaged , threats were made and eventually nothing was organised anymore .

There is a VW drag day with a lane booked at wsid on Wed 30th October , everyone is welcomed to attend .

Here is a link to the event : VW/Audi drag day . 1.8T vs VR6

If you dont have facebook then basically you turn up to the event and say you are with the VW/Audi group and they will put you in with the others with our own lane . I'll be there with a white R32 , I was going to come in a black S3 but Im still waiting on parts so I doubt I'll finish it in time

    G'Day all. I'm new here.
Keen too for meet ups. I live in Goulburn, and here we have Wakefield Park Raceway which clubs can book for track days. The cost are quite reasonable and you get use of pit garages etc. Also, from here, we have lot's of cool roads we can scoot along to the outlying villages. I live on 7 acres and happy to have my place as a meet up point.
