ACT German Autofest

Looking forward to this weekend as this the first time that I will have the Little Beastie on show. VW club cruise on Saturday and the Autofest on Sunday, haven't made up my mind whether or not if I will officialy particpate(full club membership and the like) or just put her on show for the hell of it. The weather will be warm on Saturday and cooler on Sunday. Seb, my son will be sure to take lots of pics and if anything of interest comes up we'll post them. Michael at the Tuggeranong CVWC is fixing the handbrake (no I don't have one of those sort anymore!!) and giving her a tune which she badly needs, as she can be cantankerous to start of a morning. He is also looking at the auto choke and it's associated hoses which are past their prime, I tried replacing one of them, but I was scared that I would tear the inlet from the fire wall. Gotta fix the radiator shroud as well and as usual I haven't got the right tools I need to cut the plywood anyhow I'll get there eventually.....

So I caved and did not take my dirty MK1 down this year. I know I know....you all missed me but hey....you know how it is.
