Monthly cruises

Hey guys ive made a thread @ vwgolf.net.au where ive decided to organise a cruise every month so thought id extend the invitation to all other euro based forums! This is a straight copy/paste from my thread:

Welcome all fellow Golfers and forum members to the VWG Monthly Cruises. The aim of this thread is to bring as many NSW forum members together, to put names to faces, spreading the VWG love around and of course to stretch the legs of our cars! I will try, at best, to update this thread regularly, i may be a little late sometimes but will still try to make these monthly drives go ahead! Size of the pack does not matter. Whether its 20 cars, 10 or 2, the drive will still go ahead. I will be updating my first post with details of the cruise every month and will bump this thread when all is sorted. Hope this event works out well!

Most details of this particular drive have been copied from member Neo-orpheus' thread from the last kangaroo valley drive, which was also used by Daneel (Miles). I hope thats okay with you guys, it was the best routes last time we took it

Sydney to Wollongong through to Kangaroo valley

Sydney to Wollongong

Meeting point 1:
Auburn Krispy Kreme Carpark/McDonalds (CNR Parramatta Road and St Hilliers Road, Auburn)
Arrival: 8:45am (depart at 9:30am for Loftus Oval)
Metting point 2:
Loftus Oval (Princess Highway, Loftus)
Arrival: 9:30am (depart at 10am)
Travel Time:
Approximately 2 Hours
Expected time of Arrival
12pm at Wollongong, The Lighthouse
Routes:
Royal National Park, Grand Pacific Driven
Lunch Options:
There are many take away shops, restaurants and Cafes around the area. Forum members may also decide to bring food and chill out on the beach.

Wollongong to Kangaroo Valley

Departure from Wollongong:
2pm
Travel Time:
Approximately 1.5 Hrs

Kangaroo Valley to Sydney

Departure from Kangaroo Valley:
3:30pm
Travel Time:
Approximately 2 Hrs

Macquarie Mountain Pass

What To Bring

Chairs, picnic rugs, eskies for your drinks, beach ball etc for the beach if needed, if you wish to swim bring swimmers, snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, hats etc etc

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Drive safely and watch your speed! Remember, your not the only one driving, so please watch the cars in front and behind you.
All is welcome (not restricted to forum members) bring your friends, family or partners but please follow the rules and be on your best behaviour throughout each drive. If you are taking friends/family etc please be responsible for those attendees as their behaviour will reflect on yourself

If you have a walkie talkie, please bring them to each drive. This will help quickly notify members if you have been stuck at traffic, got lost or to warn members of marked/unmarked vehicles around the area.
