its mildly interesting, sure, but then again im not TOO caught up in the fact that a FPV GT will smash a golf gti around eastern creek - never tracked my car, let alone tracking it at eastern creek, so it doesnt apply to me.

i DO however, like to drive up reefton spur, and i know for a fact that a polo will smash a FPV GT up around those roads. some people wont like this, but it's merely an objective truth.

it'd be interesting to see the astras and mazda mps3 in action - ive heard the mps3 can be a bit of a handful.

(we all know the golfs would have done well, and that the meganes would have romped it).

in the same vein, im sick and bloody tired of reading mp412c vs 458 italia reviews, driving tips for handling the bugatti veyron supersport, and that the new porsche gt3rs has been bored out to 4.0L.... there's something to be said for peeps who want to read about cars they ACTUALLY see on the road, and are thinking of purchasing.
Zactly my thoughts, as much as I like supercars and enjoy shows like top gear, it brings me much more satisfaction to see everyday underdogs/inconspicuous cars doing well.
Specially if they are going up against your typical street hero wrxubishis, 6cyl nissans, v8 holdens and fords and coming off better than expected.
I have had so many great experiences battling against much higher dollar figure cars through twisty runs, but at the end of the day a lack of "street cred" and the fully sick community will always brand these vehicles as grocery getters and cars for girls and gay men.

just a reminder folks - meet time for the next cruise is 7:30 next Sat 3rd Dec, for a 7:45am sharp departure. If you can't quite make it by 7:45, you'll find us sipping latte's on the main street of Warburton, and the cars will be parked at the Warburton Visitor Information Centre carpark.

The route looks awesome. I'm new here, too. Hope I can get up early enough to wash my car then get to Knox before 7:30 on Saturday. Is there any other Bora drivers?
