The last one I went to Herrick to toolangi took around 3 hours with a few stops and ending before return to healsville. The one I suggested about is an hour or two longer

you'll need to put a few hundred km's on your tyres just to get them reasonably non-slippy (a couple of runs up and down the eastern/ eastlink from franger to chandler highway should do the trick).
cruise starts early in the morning (get up at work times - 6:20 or so), and you should be back home for a lovely cold one at the pub by 2-3pm - you'll be pretty exhausted if it is your first "cruise" (read: boys will be boys).
oh, drive hard, but don't exceed the limits of your getting to know a new car.
and when you see a metallic blue polo (not mine, anymore, sadly) or any polo for that matter, don't presume, and don't take the bait by thinking about the numbers on paper - they will know their cars, and have set them up VERY well (as well as the other men who have sorted their cars out for the pleasure that is driving over VIC twisties).
just push it until you feel you're done, enjoy, and soak up what is usually (well, every time that i've been) a great bunch of people who just like to drive
my first (ehem) "cruise" was an eye opener, and it set me up for a long relationship with enjoying/ being reasonably aware of how to drive my car on the limit, as well as just simply hanging out with some fgckin cool people.
hit it!

I'm in for the Sunday meet given weather conditions. Will be doing the route regardless of how many cars there are

So is the start time and place the same each month as per the details in the first post?
By the sounds of it I'll probably be the slowest in the pack, I'm babying my car too much (for now) although she's quite dirty due to the horrible weather this week. Really hoping the weather will be good on sunday

Don't worry about not keeping up. You end up catching up when the leader gets stuck behind a Sunday driver.. but we stop at main rd crossings.
Start point can be Knox but I suggest the stud rd meet and the gembrook route as it gets you to warby where the twists start, but through gembrook you get half an hour of twisities to get to warby, whereas through Seville etc you get none and bad traffic.

I'm keen as mustard to join one of these cruises. Is there one happening on a,Saturday morning anytime soon?
I'm not new to going harder on cruises but new to owning a awd car so I'll need to probably stay back a bit. Obviously, I'll need to see what you guys consider driving hard "pushing the limits".
I previously owned a vr-x fagna (yeah, I know... >.> ) and was apart of a club (yeah, they exist Lol!) so I'm aware of cruise etiquette
Can hardly wait until I start to really see the limits of my Bora 4mo with its current setup and then I'll be able to adjust my driving style to probably better suit all yours.
What roads do you usually take? I did most of my mt runs on launching place road and surrounds. Is that ever used? If not, geddonit! Amazing road XD

This one is Sunday, they alternate. Very keen to get another 'frequent' cruiser on board!
In terms of pushing it, I'd say I push enough to scare my self lol. But I've set the car up to be very predictable so that's no real issue. The cruise this Sunday doesn't have many tightening corners that I remember but I've only been once.
I think that launching place road is part of the route I usually take on the gembrook to toolangi cruise I keep mentioning. Very very good fun.
What's your preference for a meet location as listed above everyone?
