    Thumbs up MELBOURNE MONTHLY CRUISE - First weekend each month (see first post for info)

    --------->>> 1st weekend of every month - alternating Sat/Sun :
    Sun 3 May, Sat 6 June, Sun 5 July, Sat 1 Aug, Sun 6 Sept, Sat 3 Oct, etc.

    STARTING POINT is the first carpark entry off Burwood Hwy east-bound @ Knox shopping centre

    MAP: Google Maps

    MEET TIME is at 7:30am for 7:45am departure.

    ROUTE is from Knox to Marysville and back.


    All makes and models welcome. UHF radios if you have some come in very handy. All roads are fully sealed, but there are no shortage of twisties

    Yeh sounds like a great idea. Was a beautiful route and will only get better once I know where the trippy tight corners are =P

    hey Dylan, it was a bit over 150km .. and I think there may have been 2, possibly 3, roads that were straight and long enough to allow us to change out of 3rd gear : )) As for road conditions, very good.

    personally I wouldn't want to do that route on a bike, but in a dub it was brilliant, and even more so in one with AWD hehehe.

    only got my APR tune a couple of weeks ago and with suburban driving I didn't notice it a great deal, but since the drive on the weekend it's obviously adapted somewhat and the R has turned into a monster! ; )

    Definately a sick cruise. Noticed afew had a vwwatercooled sticker on their beasts, who's making them?

    Take a look in General Discussion, it is stickied there.

    However I believe 6th November is the same day as day of the Volkswagen.
