That really is a shame I would love to hear that roar!
With APR and SprintBooster installed there's no doubting how good a time it'll have
Just a shame weekend mornings don't suit me (other commitments) so I never make these events

Looking for a new project! PM if you have a Golf Mk2 in need of some TLC.

Hi Guys,
I discovered you guys only recently so am looking forward to being a cruise noob on Saturday – I think...
Have an R32 to play with so hopefully I'll keep up...
So what normally happens if the weather is a bit nasty? does the Reefton still apply?
Cheers,
R.
Can we make the cruise on sunday August 5th? Saturday I gotta be at work
Scirocco R - GIAC Stage 1 - VWR CAI - VWR short shifter
What's the plan? Meet at Knox at 7:30, or are we going to start at Tempie Maccas and run the other way?
Cheers,
Stu
Lucky buggers - I'm going to miss this one, i'm getting back from indonesia on the 9th of august. oh well, it'll give me time to learn how to drive my car again, before the next cruise (i havent driven in a while - taxi drivers up here are so stoked with your generosity when you hire them to run around for an hour, and then give them $5 at the end of it).
Reefton applies no matter what, lol.
you'll be fine. the boys who rock up to cruises and tim's meets are all top blokes, and it really highlights just how solid the melbourne VW scene is - it's much more than just some minor disagreements and cr7p talking on the forums.
the pace can vary, but usually it seems to be pretty on-limit. there are usually a couple of stop-offs/regroups along the way, so it's not hard to have a word with the boys and ask to take it easy up back for a while - every single drive day i've been on has seen some good spirited driving, but after a couple of VAG cruises you'll soon realise that the most important thing to people, as a group, is without a doubt having fun and learning your car in a safe, enjoyable, comfortable-for-everyone manner. that's why i rock up as often as i can!
