Yes thats all correct. But aim to be there by 7pm.

And the reason for the price difference is, that there are many different types of Group Races, I opted for the slightly longer 40mins of track time for $80 as opposed to the 30mins of track time for $70. I thought it was better value.
If you check the website you'll see the different options.

40 minutes of racing per driver (approx 65 laps)

    Racing consists of:

10 minute practice & qualifying session.
2 final races consisting of 15 minutes each.

    Cheers mate

Thats a much better option. 2x 15 min races would be sweet. I really wanted one more race and then you would probably be to stuffed for another, so 15 min races is cool.

Ill be there by 7pm..You have to fill out a bit of paper work before u can race. Just to note, the actual time at Ace karts will be about 2 hrs. You have 15 min or so introduction then geting ur gear on, get in karts, presentations etc.. takes a little while.
    Looking forward to it!

    Wink

Ok at the moment we have 18 people definitely coming, which is awesome. I had a friend do a bit of a call around and he got 5 guys that wanted to come, unfortunately they know nothing of VW's so we'll have to show them what we're capable of.

Guy Harding might be interested. His apprentice is with him. All depends on what the Volkspower boys have got planned. We will be ok though.

Great as long as you can let me know by Friday as that is the cut off date. And we can't have any more than 22, so if they come we'll be able to have no more than 2 more.

    Cool

Ok heres a few small updates from the confirmation email I got.

Please remind your group that there is no Alcohol allowed to be consumed before racing, and to please wear closed – toe shoes, not thongs or sandals. Dresses/skirts are discouraged as well.

Please arrive at least half an hour before your race is booked to commence (7:00pm latest). This will enable time to check-in and have the safety briefing.
