I will contact QLD Raceways to finds their stance on this. I don't think I would put a child that young in a car on track. Will get back to you.

Hi guys, I un-deleted Paul's post above. As I came for a look on the thread, after he PMd me for my thoughts. I don't think it needs QR's input to make this call.

While I am all for kids having a good time and mine, when they were little loved cars.

I can't see it as being a great idea.

No one goes out to have a crash on Happy Laps but it does happen.

Almost for the sake of the other drivers out on track, this isn't going to happen.

Paul suggested an age limit of 12, which I believe to be a great idea. Most children of that age will be held properly by the seat belts.

Yes I am going to update the rules to reflect this. Thanks Gav for your input. A small child in the car could be a distraction for the driver and also I would hate for any of us to be involved in an accident with them in the car.
