the same applies for cruise Happy Laps but at much lower pace.

for the benefits of all participants, if you see 20 cars right behind you at the back section and you are not comfortable to go a little bit enthusiastically when your steering wheel is not straight and just because you are on APR Stg 8+++++++--+++%%, doesn't mean you should do something like in the clip :p

we want people to be Happy after the Happy Laps

The boat had you on the main straight lol and lost it all when the going got tuff hahah is that your 86 there ?
thanks for posting upcoming events I would sure like to come along one day and see how it's done before i demolish my none track tyres

As we are getting close to being on track this Sunday, can everyone ensure they have good tyres with a potential wet weather run. Remember if anyone spins or runs off the track the session will be ended robbing all of track time. Please subscribe to this tread to get the updates of important information.

    Definitely agree with this.

The wet weather is due to set in from Saturday and get worse on Sunday so be prepared (tyres need good grip and appropriate pressures) and only drive how you feel safe as the conditions will be variable.

Feedback we have received from other wet events has actually been very good with most users saying even though it was slower they actually had more fun and felt like they learned a lot more about how their car reacts in the wet.

Did a wet happy laps 2 years ago on kumho ku36 (which is meant to be really bad in wet).

It was a pleasant run and learnt how the gti handled in wet at enthusiastic pace

It felt quite safe which it should be, for all of the FWD and AWD participants.

And obviously much safer than driving enthusiastically thru Mt Nebo next to 20m drop off :p

The tyre will generate less heat in the wet and we want good contact with the road. Speed will be slower than dry tack. I think I will set mine 2 psi higher than manufacturer recommended cold pressures which will be a 4 psi lower than dry pressures for track(for road tyres). If the pressures work on the road they should in theory work for a wet track. I also think I will leave traction control enabled for a wet session.
