How do people do these type of events without being able to get insurance cover.I have enquired with Shannons and they won't cover my Audi for events like this????
On the whole we don't hit anything.
All well and good but s@#t happens.I really want to give this a crack but am not sure of the risk.I am not intending to damage anything but you never Know. Can you give me any examples of incidents on passed days etc.I'm not scared but I'm not stupid either!!!
Come and watch, see how it works.
There is always risk. I was right behind the Bimmer that put it into the wall at the last one. Just go at your own pace. No one will hassle you, no one will be trying to throw you off your lines...just get a little bit more comfortable each time! That said, no, there is no insurance for an event like this. Come and see. If it looks like the risk is something that you don't feel you can stomach with your car, no one will think less of you! Hell, I know that in the last few years I have certainly had moments where I wondered what the hell I was doing with my car out there...
Hey Guys,
how often do you get an opportunity to do these events.
I haven't done "happy laps" before but do 4 to 5 track days at QR & lakeside a year for the last 10yrs in my road car without incident nor recall seeing anyone else. I accept the risk and enjoy. Sometimes you have to just do it
