Having said that, there were a few other issues in the event that caught my eye as a potential safety risk.

I've been saying this stuff since I was doing 67's.

Anyway, my post wasn't directed squarely at Pav.
It's a general comment to everyone. Play it safe.

You are the shining example.

And agreed with Nat, I spent most of the straights in the left lane below 100kph, corners are way more interesting then going hard on the straights.

Was tired on Sunday as well, just came off a 12 hour shift that was only meant to be 8 hours.
My unit spent 7 hours logging evidence after a MVA.
Didn't feel like high pace, once you spend 7 hours documenting P plater vs tree, you get over it real fast.

Regardless of right or wrong in this particular incident - I did observe a few cars failing to move over before the straight. If someone is continually on your back please move to the left as you enter the straight.

Just to add - I was following An7on for a quite a few laps and saw no behavior that was against the rules.

Perhaps we just leave this as 'lesson learned' and move on?

Didn't have any issues with any drivers from where I was.
This was my first time on the track and not knowing turning points/ speed on corners etc was a struggle for the first half.

Here are my on-boards. I was starting to run low on fuel towards the end (though I still had 100km left), hence the beep. I went easy on my last lap as a warm down.

u just need to do more and you will get better and used to track driving

doing training session with something like SDT safe driver training helps a lot too.
