The CTP rally extension letter isn't an absolute. I'm waiting for some advice on this. I wanted everone to know the "worst case" admin wise so there's no surprise when it's asked for.
Nat is correct. I believe most (if not all) CTP providers do it for free. I asked Suncorp for one last week and they emailed it right after the phone convo for nothing.

Other racing commitments will be considered to get the best turn out possible. I don't want anyone to miss out if I can help it.

    Hello,

Glad you like the video, it is heavy on blue Lotus porn but then i am allowed that.

The DTC track is great fun, there are a few configurations that be run but our standard takes between 45-55sec (depending on how good you are). It is not a power track, this is all about handling and being able to drive.

Dependent on the deal with QR, it costs $75 each + ASAA licence ($20 for a day). CTP rally extension letter is free.

You need proper timing gear, table, gazebo etc I think we get the timing gear from QR but that would need checked.

Maximum 40 cars, although I prefer 25-30, so you get a few more runs in.

You really need to get a couple of people to be marshals, better if they can do the whole day. Both run the starting PC and timing gear, somebody to line up the cars is also a benefit.

There are plenty of videos of runs on YouTube, search lakeside DTC. You might even find some without a blue exige...

happy to help out with other queries, i have been to enough of them!

    Thanks.
    Some VW, some Lotus
