Adelaide: Monthly Coffee and Drive Meet - Discussion Thread

Well guys, the next cruise date (12th) is just over a week away! Let's get those route suggestions in now so we can lock in the details! Does anyone have a preference?

Last cruise was north east, so perhaps south this time? I would like to suggest that we finish up for lunch at Blessed Cheese in McLaren Vale!

Well here's a couple of suggestions.

First route runs on similar roads to the last Southern cruise, however with some reverse direction: Brighton to McLaren Vale via Clarendon, Kangarilla, Yankalilla and Myponga Reservoir



Second route starts at our regular (Taylor Blende) in Stonyfell and heads through the hills: Taylor Blende Café, Stonyfell to "The Big Cheese" in McLaren Vale via Basket Range, Bridgewater, Mylor, Cherry Gardens, Clarendon and Kangarilla.



Personally I like route 2 as it's a fairly central start point and runs on a number of new roads, but if people want to change up and start South by the beach I can easily be swayed. Possibly some better photo opportunities on route 1 too.

Either of these looks good to me! I'd probably lean towards route 2 as well, as the roads are quieter in general.

If everyone's happy with this, we'll lock it in unless anyone has any objections. I'll bring the camera this time too, and get some happy snaps.

Not sure if I'll be able to make it as will most probably be changing the car back to stock for ID inspection.
