Adelaide: Monthly Coffee and Drive Meet - Discussion Thread

Well opinions seem to be a bit divided on this one - thanks everyone for your feedback.

We'll leave the time and date of the "official" VWW cruise as 9:30am meet for 10am departure next Sunday 3 August. I think Taylor Blende is probably an ideal start point as it's central to most people, close to the hills and makes a decent coffee.

Here's a suggested route to kick things off: Taylor Blende Café to Mt Lofty via Lobethal, Nairn and Macclesfield



p.s. I'm still keen for an early morning "cool air" drive and this Sunday is looking good, so if you're up for an "unofficial" cruise a week early to test drive some possible future routes (someone's gotta do it!!) send me a pm... come to think of it Ozrodent don't worry about the pm I'll just include you on the list

I should be up for this Damien as long as it's not toooo early; don't have any plans Saturday night at this stage. Although I don't want to start the morning with a Maccas coffee, so might just have to do coffee at home first.

Nice morning for a drive - 3 braved the 7am start... nice to see a new face too





Also caught up with the Hot Hatch boys on Gorge Rd doing a photo shoot.

Some good roads too - we'll have to include parts (or all) of the route in a future "northern" cruise.

Damn, I shoulda checked this thread earlier. I live 5 minutes from there. And with a 6yo and a 6mo that time is a sleep in.
