Just putting the feelers out there - who'd be interested if we organised a go-karting grand-prix-style event at one of the metro venues (Richmond, Gepps Cross), either a Saturday arvo or Sunday morning in the coming weeks? We could follow up with a pub dinner (Saturday) or lunch (Sunday).

If we get a decent amount of interest I can start looking into the details, and create a new thread for it.
