Well after my concerns last weekend (well actually just an excuse to go for another drive), the weather is looking spectacularly good for the cruise on Sunday. It's always a bit of a lottery running a cruise in winter but the forecast looks like a pearler!
Looking forward to seeing everyone... and I think a coffee will be in order to warm up before the drive.

OK this is just a suggestion for an alternate route using a section of last weeks "early" cruise.
Taylor Blende Café to Athelstone via Lenswood, Mt Torrens, Palmer, Springton and Williamstown
I am happy either way. There are a few more 100km/hr roads on this route (takes us out the back of the 80km/hr hills zone).

Man, some peoples idea of what constitutes nice weather is plain weird. As depressing as the sunny forecast is I accept the dry run should be fun. The coffee is locked in as a must have so I'm aiming for a 9.30 arrival.

Clear blue skies, sunshine and a crisp morning in the hills = perfect turbo weather.
And you guys with FWD ought to be happy that the roads will be dry too.
I could include an uphill wet dirt road into the route to test out the non-Haldex cars if you like
