It was a bit of a last minute thing. Best to "subscribe" to the thread and then you'll keep up to date with everything that is happening locally.

There's an "official" cruise next weekend. Weather is actually looking good at this stage (raining all week and clearing up for the weekend) so fingers crossed.

This mini-cruise was a bit of an experiment. I think the early start works well for some people and maybe not so well for others. Good thing is there is less traffic on the roads and you get back mid-morning.

The only down-side is it's a bit of an early start.... and the good coffee shop doesn't open until 8am.

Time to get a cruise route locked in for this Sunday, guys!

Damien - did you have any modifications to your proposed route? Did we want to head further north this time?

I've looked to keep things fairly central with start/finish points for everyone.

Also included a number of new roads. I know Basket range to Lobethal road is a bit of a risk of there's traffic. Though it is nice and twisty

Count me in, Iv'e been dying to go on a cruise I seem to miss them all the time.

Is it ok if I bring a friend in a non VAG mobile? sadly he is a Ford man with an XR6 50th.

We have had the odd other Euro tag along on occasions. I'm not against it but they have to be supportive of VW's and a smaller group is more manageable in terms of logistics.

I'd suggest coming along and getting a feel for it first. Some people will bring a passenger to these events so maybe this is an option for your friend.
