Once again Shannons has taken the time to organise one of the best shows on their automotive calendar. Very rarely do we see an allegiance of german cars grouping together for an automotive showcase here in Australia but thankfully we have a band of passionate enthusiasts willing to do so. As with previous years, the location for the gathering was the Patrick White Lawns on the shoreline of Canberra's Lake Burley Griffin. A prestige suburb containing most of the capitals national monuments would seem very fitting for such a show.

The morning for me started off with a small meet up with friends in Gunghalin to cruise into the city. Its a rare occasion for the bunch of us get together like this so we had to make it a memorable one. Some were unable to make it to the meet up unfortunately so we made plans to meet at the show instead. The four of us set off and drove towards the city. On the way we spotted a couple of slammed Golf mk3s, MKIVs Beamers passats and soon enough were surrounded by 4-6 slammed cars all headed towards the show. Gave a couple of thumbs up to the cars as we passed by before parting ways and heading in different directions.



We finally arrived at the show and not a single drop of rain had fallen. Weather forecast for the day were showers and cloudy skies but thankfully mother nature decided to have a change of heart.
