Where To Buy New Rear Light

Hoping someone can suggest some options on where to get a good price for a new rear light/lens?

Just noticed rear driver's side outer lens is broken - someone has hit it! The inner lens (one mounted in boot) is 100% - just the outer one in the rear side panel is smashed. The part number (2009 Passat CC) is VW-3C894509G. VW dealer price in Melbourne is $225.50 - pick-up. Just noticed website myautopart.com.au online and their price is $176.88 delivered.

Lot of overseas sellers, but once freight and GST are added the price is higher than from a local dealer! Aliexpress looks very good though!

Any opinions on myautopart.com.au, and/or is there anyone else I should be looking at? Haven't tried individual wreckers because it can be difficult finding the right part.

Okay, cheapest new driver's side outer tail light I found was $130.58 from aliexpress.com (price includes shipping to Australia). Local website myautoparts.com.au had one new for $176.88 delivered. Local VW dealer was $225.50 pick-up.

Decided to go with Grant Walker Parts in Bayswater (Vic) - $120.00 pick-up - used, in good condition with 12 month warranty. Will likely match better with the one on the other side.

Nothing local on Gumtree or EBay. Lots of international sellers on EBay that either didn't deliver to Australia or the freight was prohibitive.

Will be considering GWP in Bayswater again! Picked-up rear lens - excellent condition; looks like they have an awful lot of parts, new used and reconditioned. Very impressed!
