Replacing Rear Lens Assembly - Tips?

Okay, have a replacement lens assembly (includes the bulb holder) now for the driver's tail wing side. Is there info anywhere on how to remove the old lens (cracked)?

Ah, easy - pull back the carpet flap and remove bulb holder (just pulls out) and then just 3 x 16mm nuts. All good! They sure could have made those nuts just a little easier to access though (make the carpet flap a bit bigger) - only had a 3/8" ratchet and 16mm socket. Happy that I got a secondhand lens - can't tell the difference with the others - good match.

The bonus was that the bulb holder in the "new" light was in better nick than mine. These bulb holders seem to overheat and the plastic burns/chars - I believe this is a fairly common problem (?)

Yes common problem on the burning of the bulb holders. If you switch to LED bulbs though the problem goes away plus the added bonus of no longer having to change them regularly + they look great.

Thanks for your parts suppliers suggestions, I'll add them to my list.

Thanks SKiZO. Never bought LED globes - they would produce a lot less heat! Is it fairly easy to specify the correct LED globes? Thanks for the tip!

    Sorry, I just saw this.
I used superbrightleds.com and used their recommendations. All of them were spot on, except for the foglights which didn't work for my car. (I returned them).

I changed all the rear, side-mirror, most of the interior, and front park lights.

This was my order - ignore the bulb grease(not needed) and H7's (didn't work). This is USD.
