VW Passat CC Xenon Headlight Problems Ballast Bulb Control Unit Module Cover Lens Replacement
I've got a 2013 VW CC and one of the globes stopped working. I did a bit of checking and found that the car takes D3S globes, and I bought a pair of Osram Xenarc globes to replace my original Philips OEM XenStart bulb. My mechanic switched out the dead Philips globe out for the Osram, but the new globe isn't working.
Anyone know if there's a comparability issue or some other issue I should know about? I bought the globes (I want to replace the whole pair) from Powerbulbs where using the car selector directed me to D3S bulbs from Philips, Osram, and others, so I didn't think compatibility would've been an issue.
Anyone got any thoughts?

MK4 GTI - Sold
MK5 Jetta Turbo - Sold
MK5 Jetta 2.Slow - Until it dies.
Yeah, it could be the ballast. The AFS (adaptive front light system) also stopped working. Before changing globe I just assumed that it stopped working because of the malfunctioning globe, but it could well be the ballast itself.
Any idea if those are expensive, and how to source them?
