Thread: Passat CC in the flesh

    Passat CC in the flesh

Just got back from my local dealer & they had two new Passat CC's in stock. They have quite a road presence about them.

They had a metallic silver one with chrome trim & these "fan" style wheels.

The other was a dark grey, less chrome - looked great, my favorite.

both had the R36 motor on board & DSG box

Had a sit in one this afternoon. Looks outstanding from the outside and likewise inside. I'm 180cm tall and my head juuuust touched the roof when sitting in the back seat.
Over all though a great looking car

I was the same, I don't know how I would go with a sunroof wearing a helmet!

LOL. The front seat goes down a fair bit. You might be alright. Did you notice that the roof is tilt only? No slide capability at all. Too damn big.

saw a black one at Gold Coast VW on Saturday..... was parked outside in the wind and rain . Very nice looking car, and this one had the multi-spoke 'fan' style wheels.

The fan style wheels are standard on the V6. The TDi gets 5 spoke alloys. I'm still waiting to see one in the flesh/metal. Since my polo is going to get an ECU flash done on Friday, I might swing by and have a look at the VW dealership - see if they've got one yet.

Checked the one out that they had at the Syd Motor Show late last year. Not a bad jigger in real life!
