    Unhappy Passat CC

Went and had a look at the dealer in Canberra earlier this week.

The salesman was tempting me to look at the CC, although wasnt interested as I was looking at the R36.

Finally had a look in the CC, the dealer went to start it up.

Dead as a door nail, would not turn over, I assume battery flat or .........

Doesn't leave good first impressions if I was interested.

LOL ! I was given a demo Octavia vRS as a loan vehicle when I had my Transporter in for a service (after I had ordered my vRS wagon).

Parked it in my garage for the day, but when I went to go and collect my Transporter in the arvo it was also dead as a dodo with a flat battery (had a faulty relay controlling the radiator fans). My missus gave me heaps about "the one we get better be more reliable". Thankfully it is

Cars in dealers often have flat batteries, as they do lots of starts just moving around the show room and yard, and even the test drives are often pretty short, so the battery never gets properly charged up. I agree though, doesn't make for a good first impression.
