The first model year i believe came with badges but they were removed for subsequent years.
I like it better without badges as it looks smoother and more euro.
It never occurred to me but with this being day 3 of the newcar, many people have commented on "did you have to order it without the badges".
Of course the answer is NO, but it got me thinking, why haven't VW put any Passat or even CC badges on the car ?
I actually like that it doesn't have them, but I am surprised how many people have noticed.
Anyone got any thoughts.

I agree that it looks classy without the badges. I am surprised by how many people ask me "What is it?"
In fact I had the SLK230 and Kompersor badges taken off my wife's car when I had some paint work fixed on it.
The Australia model don't have it since the very beginning but overseas model still got the CC badge these days
I've got a fully optioned CC about 2years now and very happy without the badge. Saw my friend's CC when I was in China and trust me you won't like it
Found these on the Inta Web.
Good fun to leave them wondering "What is it?"
