$30 vs $280 = Worth the risk.
Do you have an item number from ebay?
It's been a bit wet here this week and the shiny new Candy White CC didn't come with mud flaps, and the dirt down the side is ugly.
Just been quoted $500 by one dealer and $380 by another for 4 mud flaps fitted.
Both want $280 just to supply them, and I fit myself.
I didn't expect them to be made out of gold, but at that price it must be bloody good plastic.
Anyone know how hard they are to install ?
There are some on ebay for $30 (non genuine), worth the risk ?

I own a 2007 Passat, brought some from a Hong Kong eBay seller for around $30Aussie, which included the postage. Unlike the ones on OEM, these are a hardish, moulded plastic, made to fit the side profile of the car. Took me about half an hour to fit, only had to drill one hole on each side for the front mud flags, did not even need to take the wheels off, and just turned them away from the area that I fitted them on. They do have a little flex in them as I have back up to gutters with them and not had a problem.![]()
Just thought I add some photos to show what they are like.
