Just wanted to mention, I had the same problem and tried an ebay cheapie switch ($6)
Didn't work. Has the part number 3C0927225C but eventually gives an error.
The fake switch has noticeably more play in the sliding mechanism than the genuine one.

Topran switch (German) looked 100% like original and is a perfect fit. Was all good for some time but now need to check the driver's side EPB motor (other thread).

I've ordered the Topran switch. I'll let you know how it goes.

Yeah, bought electric window door control panel from aliexpress several years ago to replace the original. It was a cheapie but when I received it I was very impressed! Has worked like a charm for several years now. With the EPB switch, after a fair bit of research I settled on the Topran from RunAutoParts.com.au.

Swapping tyres from front to back today and going to inspect the driver's side (rear) EPB motor - have been getting a fault on the dash. Might have to buy a new EPB - will go with aliexpress on this one given the dealer price is around 20x higher!!!

When I get new tyres I'm going to look out for new TPMS modules.

I installed the Topran EPB switch yesterday. It works really well. I’m very happy. No further faults.

With the original and also the AliExpress switch I was getting both switch and module faults.

I ordered a spare AliExpress EPB motor a few weeks ago, just in case I need it. Hasn’t arrived yet.
