And I have to say that had it been available with the 5th seat I'd have bought it instead of the R...
Is the 5th seat retro fittable or is at a factory fit option only? I was thinking of a CC but I have 1.5 kids already and the wife wants another. I wont be taking them everywhere but it would be good if the whole family could fit for the next 3 years.
Having just become a CC owner, there's no doubt in my mind that this car is outstanding value for money (let's hope it doesn't give me problems in the future or my opinion may change).
Regarding the Falcon G6ET comments earlier in the thread - it offers great bang for your buck also. Sub $40k though is not achievable on a brand new car - Ford staff pricing is substantially more than that.
The Falcon has plenty of grunt, is quite well optioned, and is the best looking Falcon they've produced (imo). Having had one as a company car for a while, it lets itself down in silly areas - eg, Bluetooth temperamental with iPhone, rattle(s), camera and sensors packing up after 6000 kms, cabin fit and finish disappointing). Even if you could buy one for $40k, you'd be very peeved at this lack of attention to detail.
Back to the CC, as a newbie to the product and the brand, it is a pleasure to drive and look at!
Cheers.
