Why Should You Apply A Protective Coating To Your Car?

This is a long term test conducted in Malaysia over a period of a little more than a year (14 months). It demonstrates why you should apply a protective coating to your car, and why "just washing" isn't the answer.

This first image you will see the condition of the vehicle before coating. These parts of the world suffer from terrible contamination in the air. This vehicle is 8 months old at this time. Colour is a white pearl.

Here we now have the bonnet decontaminated and restored.

The bonnet is now taped up 70/30. The 70% area is Opti-Coated and the 30% area is left unprotected.

3 months later you can already see the faint line dividing the Opti-Coated and unprotected areas

See the line where the swirl marks begin on the unprotected surface.

The harder Opti-Coat surface = less swirls
Less contamination = less swirl marks inflicted during washing

Unprotected surface showing heavy build up of swirls and scratches

After 12 months, the difference becomes very obvious.
