CSIRO Results - Opti-Coat

Opti-Coat has now been proven and tested by CSIRO for chemical and scratch resistance.

The test used for Australian standards involved concentrated (100%) Hydrochloric Acid, Phosphoric Acid and Ethanol. All of which had no effect on the coating

We also rated scratch resistance up to 1100g. A result such as this is commonly referred to as "Above 9H".
