I run a Superchips Bluefin in mine. Pretty good value for money IMO.

I'm pretty sure its the actual factory map which is saved on the Bluefin device at the start. They say that it is undetectable because it resets the flash counter on the ECU but I have also heard there is another counter in the instrument cluster. That said its better than most other flash tunes because most dont reset any flash counters.

In Sydney, Mark at Recode, for a real dyno tune, no question!

I'd bet he can get a much better result than a Bluefin too, for similar $$.

Hmm I am a bit worried about that check as i have the extended new car warranty, and don't want any trouble
It sounds like a lot of fun though. Would be great if someone can confirm. (with good news )

He and I have had many a chat, and if I was nearby, no question he would be the guy. He knows "stuff".... and I may need him to write extra cose to remove my EGR and other things I want to remove from the car, and I expect he is one of few who could do this.

He is a very down to earth guy, explained to me the truth behind all the "tunes" out there - I think having a chat to him would be VERY worthwhile!

Greg, I'd be interested to know whether you know of anyone with similar know-how in Melbourne.

To be honest I don't really know the Melbourne scene, but in your shoes I would approach DNA tuning, they sure seem to know their stuff, offer a lot of good info, and I have a very picky Audi mate down there who has decided they are the go, and believe me he is picky!

Thanks for the kind words Greg; I will make sure your mate (with the TT?) is looked after! =)

SRoman, we have upgrades available for the Mk V GT; all of our tunes for the Mk V have been developed and refined over the years and you will not be disappointed. Feel free to shoot me an email and I can send you some more specific information, cheers.
