Apperently yes, although they are designed for more efficient plumbing for FI, N/A can still benefit from removing the throttle body away from the hot exaust manifold and not have the intake charge getting hot passing over the head before it enters.
Never seen one on a N/A VR6 though, not sure where you'd plumb it in from.
They're very effective with the Charge Cooler, those Schimmel Air to Water systems come with a huge water tank and pump, then a pre-rad before entering the cooler, then it s straight into the short runner, awesome, much better than all the pipe work you'd need for a FMIC.
